Brother Luke, I worked at the radio station and came to visit your church last November. I visited over 70 churches while working at the Christian Media Center and God put your church on my heart to visit again tomorrow, Easter Sunday 2012. I just tonight learned of your illness and want you to know you and your wife are in my prayers. I hope you are doing well and look forward to celebrating our Savior's resurrection at Batley tomorrow. I'm so thankful for a church that makes all folks feel welcomed, that, sadly to say, is not always the case. May God's Holy Spirit move in the service tomorrow. Amen

I have been watching the Batley Services online, and they have been such a blessing! As I have been singing and traveling it has been difficult missing my home church and hearing the Word. It is so uplifting and encouraging to be able to come home and hear the choir sing and the Word of God preached. Thank you so much!

Pastor Luke, I just read your blog and wanted you to know that my family and I have been praying for you and your family. My family was very blessed that God sent you into our lives during the time that my grandfather, Barney Lowe, was fighting cancer. Your many visits with my pa-paw ment the world to him and your prayers with him and our family really helped us through a very hard time. I have been thinking alot about the message you preached when my family visited your church a few months ago... WE MAY BE KNOCKED DOWN, BUT WE ARE NOT KNOCKED OUT. What a wonderful message you preached that Sunday. I will always remember that message. I have never felt as welcome in church as I did that day we visited at Batley Church.
