New Church Procedures Regarding Use of The Fellowship Hall and Family Life Center
God has blessed us with both a Fellowship Hall and a Family Life Center and we want everyone to be able to enjoy it. We also want to ensure that it is used in a way that will not bring dishonor to God or to the church. To make sure that everyone understands what is expected of them if they use these facilities, we have adopted some new procedures. Please note that these apply both to individuals requesting use of the facilities for personal use (baby showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc.) and also to groups within Batley who wish to use the facility (Sunday School parties, Senior functions, etc.) These rules apply to the Fellowship Hall, the Family Life Center and any other church buildings. Requests must be completed two weeks in advance. You may pick up a request form from the church office or from the Fellowship Committee (Carol Woodard is head of this committee). Once the form is completed and returned, it will be brought before the Fellowship Committee for approval and you will be notified of the results. Also, church functions will always have priority over individual use. The church reserves the right to cancel an individual’s permission to use the facilities if it is discovered that the requested time conflicts with a church function. Please stop by the church office or see Carol Woodard for a complete list of the rules.
